Get unique hands-on experience with scientific research. Work with UNL faculty and graduate students to design and carry out both field and laboratory-based research projects. Most projects will likely focus on local invertebrate taxa (e.g. spiders). The goal of the week will be to complete an independent project, culminating in the presentation of a scientific talk. No prior research experience is necessary, but campers must be willing to work with live crickets and spiders. Campers must also be willing to work outdoors and ‘get their hands dirty'.
