Next fall, when your friends ask you what you did during the summer, you can say…
“I explored a new major at UNL.” “I conducted science research in a lab and in the field.” “I edited footage for a film.” “I experienced an indoor tropical forest.” “I spent time on the UNL campus, making friends and exploring career choices."
These are just a few of the options available to you at the 2010 BIG RED ACADEMIC CAMPS to be held this June. These career exploration camps are a chance for you to explore the UNL campus, meet people from across the state, spend time investigating an interest or potential career and have lots of fun.
The 2010 BIG RED ACADEMIC CAMPS will be hosted by Nebraska 4-H and UNL faculty members in various academic areas across campus. After spending several fun-filled days exploring a specific topic like filmmaking or fashion design, we’ll invite your family to join you for a special “capstone event” where you can showcase your work.
